With an emphasis on exploration, socialization, and hands-on activities and lessons for all age groups, our Summer Programs combine learning with fun! Preschool through Third Grade: Themed Enrichment Weeks Allow children to experience a little bit of everything! Each week offers a different theme to guide curriculum in various classes such as science, drama, art, history, and many more specially tailored to the unique week. Students entering First Grade or above are given a deeper look into the theme with special afternoon activities and experiences each week. Second through Fifth Grade: Specialty Program Join us for a week designed to engage our older students by exploring a topic with more depth and expertise. Merging this topical focus with free play and exploration, students will enjoy their week through hands-on experiences and group projects. Sixth through Ninth Grade: Leader in Training Program Looking to build various administrative and teaching skills in an educational environment? Learn how our Summer Program operates as you assist teachers and staff with daily duties such as setting up spaces, supervising students, preparing materials for lessons, cleaning/organizing, and similar duties that arise. Led by our LIT Coordinator, students will have a unique experience — leaving with tangible skills and stories to build from in the coming years. All SPS Summer Programs staff are experienced educators with a passion for providing enriching and engaging experiences for our students.
