Play Arts is a new play space open 7 days a week in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia (1241 N Front Street). Just recently we stopped by this amazing spot to chat with its owner, Krista about all they have to offer for families!
Play Arts is open M-F 9am-7pm weekends 9am-3pm. The open space is warm and inviting with a loft style cafe, where parents can enjoy a cup of coffee or BYOB for a family happy hour. Family memberships along with non-member play passes are available. For a little more than $1 a day you can have an annual membership which comes with many perks. However, if your not yet ready to make that commitment you can drop by for a full day of play for only $12.00. Beyond the free play they also offer classes in: Music, Art, Movement and Enrichment. Some popular options in these categories are Mallet Mayhem, Open Sensory Studio, Theatre Games and Chinese Class. Party packages are available for your next event. You can ring in the New Year in Play Arts style with a dance party at 10am, balloon drop at noon along with complimentary champagne and juice.
