Make weeknights, weekends and all the holidays a little easier with our slow cooker French toast casserole! Here’s the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup Heavy cream
2 tbsp of butter chopped up
½ cup of chopped pecans
1 loaf of French bread sliced
3 tbsp Cinnamon
1 tsp of vanilla
How to:
- Spray the bottom of the Cuisinart multicooker with cooking spray
- Lay the French bread slices on the bottom of the pan, you will use half of the loaf. Afterwards lightly sprinkle 1 TBSP cinnamon on top of the slices.
- In a bowl whisk the eggs, heavy cream, butter, vanilla, 1 TBSP cinnamon and pecans. Stir it enough to break up the yolks. Pour half of the mixture onto the bread inside the multicooker.
- Layer the remaining bread slices, sprinkle 1 TBSP cinnamon on top then pour the rest of the liquid mixture over the bread.
- Place the lid on the Cusinart multicooker and turn it on. Set it on low to cook for 3 1/2 hours. The multicooker will automatically set to warm after cooking.
- Serve with maple syrup or sprinkle confectioner’s sugar on top and enjoy!
